My Little Book of Nightmares

Spring 2023 narrative project

A hand-drawn, monochromatic comic book coming out of a ceramic monster’s mouth. The tongue-like comic strip is a story of a selection of individual’s “weirdest nightmares”, such as being chased by a cult of giant Gorillas and giving birth to a tarantula. Dreams can be very strange, and nightmares even more so, but one very interesting part is how little we know about them all, yet how much we can break them down to unpack our own psyche, past experiences and fears of the future.
